The world may be eagerly waiting for the World Cup to begin, but discontent rules on the streets of Brazil. A new survey by the Pew Research Center found that the majority of Brazilians are not satisfied with their country’s direction. As for the World Cup, the survey found that the views of Brazilians are mixed – some think it will help the economy while others fear the tournament is diverting resources.
