Officials in Texas have set fire to a luxury lakeside home that was dangling over the edge of a cliff.

Part of the house fell into the lake on Tuesday – now it has been burnt down to stop the rest of it plunging into the lake. The owners of the house – which was nearly 50 metres from the cliff edge when it was built – have already abandoned it.
