Rachel Antonoff debuted her prep-school-themed fall collection at the Professional Children’s School on the Upper West Side — her first show at New York Fashion Week in two years. (For the past four seasons, she’s made videos instead of showing her collections, featuring directing credits by Lena Dunham and cameos by Natasha Lyonne, Laurie Simmons, and Antonoff’s brother and Bleachers frontman, Jack.) Earlier this week, the Cut spent a day with Antonoff as she prepared for her NYFW return, following her from the crack of dawn at her Brooklyn apartment to the Tribeca shoot for her fall look book.
