Quick Tip : How to trim your hamster’s nails

When I first got my tiny hamster I didn’t realize that I would have to trim her nails. I searched for tutorials and they all said to hold her little paw and trim. Dwarf hamsters are pretty tiny hamsters and don’t like to stay still for very long. I had to come up with my own method. I give her a treat that is too large for her to put in her pouch. In this case I used a yogurt drop. I don’t like to give her these often because they have a lot of sugar in them. She holds the treat with her little paws and I clip away. She doesn’t even notice. I hope this quick tip helps others.
