NYC Sherpa tells us about the dangers of Everest – BBC News

After an avalanche killed 16 Sherpas on Mount Everest on 18 April, the Sherpa community in New York gathered at a local church to pay their respects.

He tells the BBC why he quit climbing in the Himalayas and moved to New York City.
