Karachi airport ‘gunfire resumes’ after deadly raid – BBC News

Gunfire has reportedly resumed at Karachi airport after Sunday’s attack by gunmen, which left 23 people dead and a number of others injured. One policeman was injured in fresh firing on Monday, a paramilitary spokesman told the AFP news agency.
The army had earlier said it had retaken control of Jinnah International Airport’s old terminal and that all 10 attackers had been killed. Pakistan’s Taliban have said they have carried out the attack. The BBC’s Shahzeb Jillani explained that it looks like the incident is not over yet.
