Injured Aghan girl returns home – BBC News

In Afghanistan a young girl – badly wounded by a stray grenade has finally returned home after treatment in the United States. Seven year old Shah Bibi took the full force of the blast, in an area where villages are frequently caught in the crossfire between the Taliban and Afghan Army. It’s the same region where just last week two western female journalist were shot, one of them fatally. Our correspondent Karen Allen has been following Shah Bibi’s progress and has this exclusive report.
