An international team of bike enthusiasts have made an auto-balancing bike, Jyrobike, that they claim can teach children to ride in an afternoon. BBC News checked out the only prototype.
Turfing out the training wheels – a new technology could mean learning to ride a bike in just one afternoon. Jyrobike contains a patented control hub in the front wheel that uses gyroscopic technology to keep riders upright, even when they tip or wobble.
