Police in Italy say they have broken up a drug smuggling mafia organisation and seized 2 tonnes of cocaine – after undercover agents tracked drugs from Peru to Europe via Brazil. A two-year long investigation culminated with the arrest of more than 40 people in southern Italy and Brazil, as Daniela Ritorto explains.
